Lawyer representing the Laundrie family, Steven Bertolino, has confirmed that a phone Brian Laundrie bought before his disappearance has been turned over to the FBI. Rumors circulated online that Mr. Laundrie had purchased a “burner phone” before his disappearance, although Mr. Bertolino claims that the phone was turned over to law enforcement.

The campgrounds have become a point of interest in Mr Laundrie’s ongoing research after Duane Chapman, better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, said he was tipped about the visit family at the campground.
It has been 10 days since Mr Laundrie went missing on the same day he became a person of interest in the missing persons case of his girlfriend Gabby Petito, whose body was later found later that evening. The body of another hiker, Robert Lowery, was also recently found in the same forest where Ms Petito’s remains were.
Police rejected the tip, saying no one resembling Mr Laundrie has been reported in the area. However, reporters later confirmed that the laundries remained at the campsite in early September, just days before Ms Petito went missing.
Steven Bertolino, the lawyer representing Brian Laundrie’s family, confirmed on Tuesday that Mr Laundrie went camping with his parents after returning from his road trip. But the lawyer denied that his parents helped him go into hiding, insisting the three laundries returned from the campsite.
Police admit they did not see the missing man when they seized the van from the family home
Florida police have admitted that they did not see Brian Laundrie when she visited her parents’ home on September 11, raising questions about the last time the missing suspect was at home.
North Port Police seized a van belonging to Gabby Petito from the family home in Laundrie that evening after she was reported missing by her mother Nichole Schmidt.
Spokesman Josh Taylor told media on Wednesday that police did not “spot” Mr. Laundrie that night. The laundries refused to cooperate with the authorities and gave them the contact details of their family lawyer.
His parents told authorities he left home on September 14 to hike in nearby Carlton Reservation, but did not report him missing until three days later.

No more deliveries sent to laundries
FedEx and Amazon deliveries were made to the laundry’s home on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier this week, many flowers were delivered to the house as a makeshift memorial to Gabby Petito. The flowers were placed on the front lawn.
Police said the flowers would eventually be thrown away.

Duane Champan, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, is said to have used dogs in his search for Brian Laundrie.
Mr. Chapman’s daughter, Lyssa, made the claim on Twitter.
The reality TV star has claimed he is also using boat crews today to search for an unspecified area where he believes Mr Laundrie may be.

Rumors are circulating that Brian Laundrie may have fled to North Carolina. The Watauga County Sheriff confirmed he had received extensive advice regarding Mr Laundrie, but said none was important enough to warrant contacting the FBI.
