AD Ports Group, the region’s premier logistics, industry and trade facilitator, has signed an agreement with China-based Shandong Port Group to establish a Tire Hub in KIZAD for tire storage and distribution .

Agreement between AD Ports Group and Shandong Port Group comes as UAE’s efforts intensify on the country’s 50th anniversary to foster economic diversification, attract foreign direct investment and consolidate Abu’s position Dhabi as a leading trade, logistics and manufacturing base, in line with the country’s industrialization strategy.

The Tire Hub leverages the strength of AD Ports Group as a key catalyst for commerce and logistics by offering Shandong Port Group integrated services from its clusters. AD Ports Group will provide space for an upcoming 150,000 square meter facility to KIZAD as part of its industrial towns and free zone
Group.

This will include warehouse management, logistics, distribution and re-export services offered by MICCO as part of the logistics cluster of the AD Ports group, and SAFEEN Feeders, as part of the maritime cluster.
