Video: GoPro Launches Hero 10 Black With New GP2 Processor

GoPro today released the tenth iteration of its Hero action camera.

While the camera body looks a lot like the Hero9 released exactly one year ago, the new camera is said to be the most powerful GoPro has ever produced thanks to its new GP2 chip. The new processor provides a speed update (the previous version was in use since 2016) and means the entire camera should capture, process, and download content much faster than before.

As you might expect, there are a number of image quality upgrades as well, including 5.3k video at 60 fps, 4k video at 120 fps, and 8x slow motion. The full list of features is below.

The camera costs $ 550 without a GoPro subscription, $ 400 for existing GoPro subscribers, or $ 400 for new subscribers with one year of GoPro subscription included. More info here.
