UPDATE | Missing boy found

SCOTTOWN, Ohio (WSAZ) – Brody Davis has been found.

This is according to the teams on the spot who say it was located just before 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Davis disappeared around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, teams have been looking for the boy since.

Authorities say he was in a wooded area. Davis was found unharmed, slightly dehydrated and with a few minor cuts, bruises and scrapes.

WSAZ is trying to get more information from the teams on site.

Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless said multiple teams were looking for a missing boy.

Sheriff Lawless said 12-year-old Brody Davis, of Scottown, went missing around 11 a.m. Saturday from his home along Township Road 74.

The sheriff’s office was notified about an hour after her disappearance, which Sheriff Lawless said is not unusual.

Davis is 4 feet 10 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black athletic shorts or gray sweatpants, with a white t-shirt.

Neighboring fire departments, neighbors and friends are assisting the sheriff’s office in their search efforts.

Sheriff Lawless said drones were deployed as well as the Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter.

WSAZ has a team that goes to the scene.
