Need a portable Bluetooth speaker for your next vacation? Then we recommend the EarFun Uboom L, which impressed us with its energetic sound and punchy bass. OLED displays are even better, with the Philips 65OLED+937 TV showing off the capabilities of new OLED EX technology, which boosts brightness to whole new levels. As a result, the HDR performance is incredible, while the 4K resolution and booming speakers should also contribute to a first-class cinematic experience.

The iFi Go Bar is a portable DAC that delivers exciting sound when listening to music on the go. It’s certainly not cheap, but if you have enough money (and space in your pocket), it’s well worth the investment to ensure the best possible audio playback performance.

Honor 70
The Honor 70 is a great mid-range smartphone if you don’t feel like paying a fortune on your handset. It has a nice 6.67-inch OLED display and a great main camera for taking snaps. Although the lack of a telephoto lens and waterproof IP rating may persuade some to spend a bit more elsewhere.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro is another powerful mid-range phone, sporting a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 50-megapixel resolution camera. Its glass back can be annoying as it picks up fingerprints for a dirty look, but that’s a minor bug for an otherwise great value phone.

Honor Cushion 8
The Honor Pad 8 is one of the most affordable Android tablets on the market, while offering a large 12-inch display with a remarkable 2000×1200 resolution. The large battery should prove sufficient for long trips, while performance is also fast thanks to the Snapdragon 680 chip.

Samsung Galaxy M22
Can’t quite stretch the budget on one of Samsung’s flagship phones? The Galaxy M22 is a great alternative. Its battery lasted two days on a single charge during testing, while the vibrant display and speedy performance also impressed. The camera is decent for the price, although it seems to struggle to shoot in low light.

Salter Aerogrill
The Salter Aerogrill is effectively what you would get if an air fryer and grill had offspring. We were impressed with its excellent cooking performance, mainly thanks to its high maximum temperature. And best of all, it’s surprisingly affordable, costing under £100.
