From everything I’ve read the SD 480 performs much better than previous Class 400 chips. Its performance on the G50 depends on optimization, but in theory it should be pretty good.

You said camera, sd 480 has 12 bit triple ISP (same as 888 and 778 sd), while 720G sd has 14 bit dual ISP, 720G sd can handle single 480G sd camera well can manage multiple cameras with one phone easy, nowadays don’t use single camera, almost all phones have 3 or more sd 480G is much better in this aspect.
2. The Sd 480G supports 4+ fast charge compared to 4 over 720G.
3.Sd 480G support faster memory, 2.1GHz ddr4 (dual channel, same frequency as sd 855 but less channels) RAM compare 1.8GHz of sd 720G and same as ufs sd 480G version supported charge 2.2.
4.Sd 480G has better modem (same lte)
So 480G sd is not inferior to sd 7xx series.

If only you knew all these phone brands you mention are paying nokia for a technology patent … nokia is not giving away anything we say i guess it’s purely commercial. But I still use my NOKIA phone and am happy with its performance.
