Huawei Mate 50 flagship series to arrive in October, analyst says

Huawei fans have been overwhelmed by many rumors regarding the upcoming launch of the Huawei Mate 50 series.

This time around, we now have the answer about its release after an industry insider revealed information about the flagship.

Previously, Huawei only offered the P50 line of smartphones. However, many believed it wasn’t the only bundle the Chinese phone maker would introduce this year.

Due to many issues in the market, there have been several delays with the next flagship.

A tech insider has claimed that Huawei Mate 50 will be released in October.

Currently, the strongest clue we should know about Huawei Mate 50 is its next release which could possibly take place next month.

According to GizmoChinaIn his report on Sunday, September 19, one of the industry insiders Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSSC) claimed that the new Chinese smartphones would be available until October.

This means that the launch of the Mate 50 in the fourth quarter of 2021 is only a month away.

Huawei Global Launch Event

As per DSSC expert’s claim regarding the launch of the Huawei Mate 50, there will be a special company launch event on October 21. It will take place at 3 p.m. in Vienna, Austria, in the coming weeks.

At the moment, we have yet to hear any announcements regarding the particular Huawei product that will be introduced on the grand occasion. The closest thing we could think of is the imminent arrival of the P50 series in many countries around the world.

Last week, Huawei released a teaser that may hint at the P50 Pro’s debut on the market.

However, this has raised many questions if this is the exact model that will come soon.

In a report by GSM arena, the camera bump of the unknown smartphone was carefully inspected and it turned out not to be the Huawei P50 series.

A close inspection revealed that the bump is located above the volume rocker. This usual feature is nowhere to be found in the P50 series.

This gave some answers that Huawei Mate 50 is now on the way.

If the news regarding the Huawei Mate 50 launch is true, the potential issue we could see would be its availability. Amid the supply chain issues, we could anticipate that it would only come in limited numbers.

For now, it’s best to wait until October 21 to see the final reveal on the Mate series. The latest teaser could be a good sign of his debut: from his camera to his design.

We assume that the Huawei Mate 50 series will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip which is “slightly” similar to the Vanilla P50 chipset.

Huawei Mate 50 could have the first 3nm processor

In January, the Kirin 9020 processor was due to appear in 2022 with the Mate 50 series. This was a breakthrough for Huawei when it came to producing a 3nm chip.

Meanwhile, a report released in May suggested the Huawei P50 had a chance of dropping in May or June. Rumor has it that he has a 24-core Mali G78 GPU.
