An intense snowstorm could hit Buffalo next week

Don’t you feel like every morning you woke up there was at least a little snow on your car? Seriously, it looks like it snowed at least a little every day during the month of January.

January 2022 is in the top five snowiest Januarys in Buffalo’s history. It’s also one of the coldest we remember in recent memory.

Temperatures won’t be fun this weekend, with teenage highs on Saturday and Sunday. The good news is that snow shouldn’t be an issue, but that could change significantly next week.

Tuesday will see highs in the 40s with a chance of rain and sleet which will be welcome after the brutally cold weather we have had to endure.

However, on Wednesday the weather will be more unsettled with winter mix and highs of 37, according to WIVB, then Thursday will be the day to watch.

WIVB’s Mike Cejka says there is an impending storm expected to arrive by Thursday, with could produce intense and heavy snow…

It’s obviously still too early to tell how many inches (or feet) we’ll see from this storm, but if this winter was any indication, it could be heavy snowfall.

It never hurts to prepare early; maybe plan to work from home on Thursday and/or Friday next week, and take a quick trip to Wegmans or Tops…but don’t buy all the bread.

With the endless number of memes scattered across the internet, it’s hard to keep track. Stacker scoured internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can become exhausting, memes at their core can also bring people together, as long as they have access to the internet.
